Mexican software development company CloudSourceIT has received the National Technology and Innovation Award (PNTI) for Technology Management in recognition of its efficient innovation management model.
The company, which was founded in Monterrey, Nuevo León in 2010, and its founder, Gustavo García, see this award as a great milestone in its growth, solidifying it as yet another example of technological innovation in Mexico.
“We promote corporate innovation by first understanding the problem, then developing a prototype for a solution, validating it, improving it, and taking it to the final product development stage. Unlike other companies, our model can support the innovation process of both startups and established corporations, ” explained Garcia.
The PNTI award was created by presidential decree in 1998 as a vehicle to recognize entrepreneurs and organizations that innovate and develop technology to solve high-impact problems in Mexico.
“I think losing the vision of the future is, without a doubt, wasting time; we should be focused on these new challenges, today. After analyzing what is happening around us, we have to commit ourselves to those processes of change and we have to bet on the processes of transformation. It is very motivating to see that SMEs are those that are being deservedly awarded in different areas of this revolution,” said Ildefonso Guajardo, Mexico’s Minister of Economy and the person who presented CloudSourceIT with the award.
CloudSourceIT has become one of the top-10 software development companies for mobile devices in the country. The company is part of the Nuevo León software cluster and this year became one of the top-10 Great Places to Work in Mexico.
